The Wiccan Way Community Forums are online bulletin board forums available to all customers and visitors of The Wiccan Way online store. We started these forums after receiving numerous emails from our customers asking general questions about the practice of Wicca.

Because offering advice on spellcasting, which supplies should be used, how to perform rituals and other topics such as these might be considered a conflict of interest from owners of a store where Wicca Supplies are sold, we thought it would be much more helpful if we could somehow get our customers together into a location where they could all help each other. And thus The Wiccan Way Community Forums was created.

Over time, we have built a wonderful community of very kind people who have been more than generous to other members. They have given helpful information and have taken time to answer all the numerous questions that get posted every day.

Without all the kindness and helpfulness from our most loyal forum members, our community would not be the same. So for that we thank each and every one of you who got us started and keep coming back to help others. You all have made these forums a great place to visit each and every day.

It is the goal of The Wiccan Way Community Forums to provide a safe haven for our members where they can feel comfortable sharing some of their most personal thoughts in discussions regarding the practice of their Pagan religious beliefs.

Therefore, our number one priority in the Forums is to ensure all postings demonstrate respect for all members who participate here. Member bashing will not be tolerated, and reports of such will be cause for immediate dismissal from our Forums.

We want to promote a friendly, family-type atmosphere where ideas can be received and discussed openly and without judgment.

There are many topics of discussion available to people which can cause great emotional reactions. Among those are discussions about religion, politics, racial issues and sexuality. Posts which generalize the actions/thoughts/deeds of people merely by their inclusion in a specific group are unacceptable here at The Wiccan Way Community Forums.

For everyone here, if you have an issue with a particular person within a particular religious group, political group, racial group or sexual group, whether you know them personally or it's someone in the news, that's just fine to air here in the forums. Keep the discussion specific to the person in question. Religious text discussions are fine too.

But generalized statements about "what all/most/some xxxxxxxx do" or "how all/most/some xxxxxxx think" or "how all/most/some xxxxxxxx act" should not be posted here. These types of posts are unacceptable in The Wiccan Way Community Forums and could result in your dismissal from the Forums.

Because we have members of all ages participating in The Wiccan Way Community Forums, we do not allow the posting of pornographic pictures or web links ANYWHERE on this web site. There are plenty of other internet sites where this is acceptable and you should feel free to go to those other locations if posting pornography is what you want to do. Don’t do it here. If you post pornographic pictures or links here in our forums, they will be removed immediately and will be considered cause for your immediate dismissal from our Forums.

With the new Community Photo Albums, found here http://www.wiccanwayforums.com/photo_album.asp , we are hoping to encourage people to post their pictures there, rather than in the body of their posts. The primary reason for this is due to the excessive download times experienced by those who are not on broadband connections when loading message threads.

Since not everyone has web graphic optimization software to compress photos into the smallest file size possible, we've encountered some pictures included in posts which have made it PAINFULLY slow to display the messages.

So please, if you've got pictures you'd like to show, load them from your computer to the photo album area, then refer the readers to look at the photo in your member photo album and it'll make the message threads much easier to read.

It is not the purpose of The Wiccan Way Community Forums to facilitate the sale of goods between members. If you have items you want to sell, please advertise your items on another site that was made for that purpose.

As the owners of this forum, we could potentially be held liable/responsible for any member-to-member transaction that went sour or was not completed to the satisfaction of all parties, so we will not allow posts advertising items for sale by our forum members.

Because these forums are hosted/sponsored/paid for by The Wiccan Way online store, we will post links to products on the store site when appropriate within a discussion.

When recommending products and providing links to products in your posts for the benefit of other forum members, we would appreciate it if you would check to see if we sell the products at The Wiccan Way store before posting links to outside/competitor sites.
